The American Boy Choir is set to perform a free concert before they embark on their tour of Korea.

The concert is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Sept. 2 in the chapel at the Princeton Center for Arts and Education, 75 Mapleton Road, Princeton.

The Ministry of Culture and the Korea Federation for Choral Music invited the choir to perform in the Daejeon International Choral Festival. The choir is the only all-boy group performing in the festival.

After the festival, the choir is set to sing and take part in cultural activities in Seoul, including a concert at Baekyang Hall on the Yonsei University campus.

This is American Boychoir’s second tour of Korea in its 75-year history. They have previously performed in Busan and Seoul before audiences of more than 4,000.

The choir is set to perform music they will sing overseas during the Korea Tour Sendoff Concert.

Seating for the concert is limited.

The American BoyChoir is comprised of boys in fourth through eighth grade who come from across the country and around the world to pursue a musical and academic curriculum at the school in Princeton. Their 2013-14 season includes a performance of Britten’s War Requiem with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, holiday concerts with the Canadian Brass and a performance of Mahler’s Third Symphony with the Princeton University Orchestra and Glee Cub.
