Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre announces 2013 season

Actors Collin Cenci (Hamilton), David McCloughan (Lambertville), Taylor Beckman (Flemington), and Mike Nappi (Doylestown, Pa.) perform in The Wizard of Oz at Washington Crossing’s Open Air Theatre last year.

The Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre is set being its 2013 summer season with the Drowsy Chaparone on May 24.

Mainstage musicals and children’s theater productions are scheduled for through October 13.

The theatre is located inside Washington Crossing State Park, 355 Washington Crossing – Pennington Road, Titusville.

Mainstage productions are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children under 10 years old.

Children’s Theatre performances are set for Friday and Saturday at 11 a.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. General admission tickets are $5.

Shows are performed by actors a part of the Downtown Performing Arts Center based in Lamberville.

The following productions are scheduled for the mainstage.

The Drowsy Chaperone is set for May 24 through 26 and May 31 through June2.

Crazy for You is set for June 7 through 9, 14 through 16 and 21 through 23.

Stars n’ Stripes is set for June 28 through 30.

The Wizard of Oz is set for July 5 through 7 and 12 through 14.

Young Frankenstein is set for July 19 through 21, 26 through 28 and August 2 through 4.

Hair presented by the alumni of the Downtown Performing Arts Center is set for August 9 through 11.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is set for August 16 through 18 and 23 through 25.

Gypsy is set for August 30 through September 1, September 6 through 8 and 13 through 15.

Into the Woods is set for September 20 through 22 and 27 through 29.

Captain Louie is set for October 4 through 6 and 11 through 13.

The following productions are scheduled for the Children’s Theatre.

Disney’s Cinderella Kids is set for June 15 and 16 and 22 and 23.

Jack and the Giant is set for the children’s June 28 through 30 and July 5 through 7.

The Little Mermaid is set for July 12 through 14 and 19 through 21.

Rapunzel is set for July 26 through 28 and August 2 through 4.

Disney’s 101 Dalmatians is set for August 9 through 11 and 16 through 18.

Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Kids is set for August 23 through 25 and 30 through September 1.
