Gina Gilligo of Hamilton was among ten students who graduated from the Honor Yoga Teacher Training Program on June 29.

The Teacher Training is a 200 hour program that is held every other weekend for six months.

The program blends Vinyasa and Iyengar yoga. Students also study pranayama, meditation, philosophy, ayurveda and anatomy. Each area is taught by Honor Yoga instructors.

Newly certified instructors will offer donation-based community classes, called Karma Class, during the summer. Members of the community are welcome to come take a Karma Class for as low as a minimum donation of $5.

Karma Classes will benefit organizations including Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Disabled Veterans Association, Contact Crisis Hotline of Mercer County, the Trenton Animal Shelter, and The Tre Devon Lane Foundation.

For those interested in the next Teacher Training program, Honor will offer two information sessions on July 27 and August 10 at 6 p.m.

Honor Yoga is located at 621 North 130, Unit 12, Hamilton Township.
