RWJ Hamilton names new chief medical officer

Dr. Pickoff

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton named Dr. Robert M. Pickoff, of Morristown, its new chief medical officer.

With more than 16 years of management experience in the hospital industry, Pickoff has extensive background in clinical, regulatory and medical affairs.

A board-certified internist who specializes in cardiovascular disease, Pickoff comes to RWJ Hamilton after serving as chief medical officer at Hunterdon Medical Center and Saint Clare’s Health System in Denville.

As RWJ Hamilton’s CMO, Pickoff will be responsible for the coordination of medical affairs and the medical staff office, as well as assist in the achievement of the hospital’s goals as it relates to quality, service and physician alignment.
