Robbinsville Hamilton Rotary accepting scholarship applications

Rotary Club Scholarships are available for high school seniors living in Robbinsville and Hamilton Townships who are continuing their education at a two or four-year college or a vocational or technical school.

Through its foundation, the club awards various college scholarships ranging from $250 to $1,000. Students planning to study journalism, including advertising, multimedia, public relations, TV and radio, are eligible for the James A. DeBold “Service Above Self” scholarship, which awards $1,000. The Don Carrington Vocational/Trade School Scholarship is awarded in an amount of $500.

Students must submit an online application which includes short essays about their participation in community service and plans for continuing education. Applications are due April 30, 2016.
