MLK committee hosts annual tribute

The Hamilton Martin Luther King Jr. Committee members Gary Gray, Hamilton Councilwoman Eileen Thornton, Detective Quincy Hendryx, and Councilman Ed Gore stand behind Faith Baptist Church’s Pastor Walker, keynote speaker Rev. DeForest B. Soaries and award recipients Art DiPaola Jr. and Cathy DiCostanzo at the 10th Annual King Tribute at Faith Baptist Church in Hamilton.

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. committee recognized two community members at its Annual King Tribute.

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award for Spirit of Community service was awarded to Cathy DiCostanzo. DiCostanzo is the president of Sunshine Foundation’s Mercer County Chapter.

DiPaola Turkey Farm received the the award for business service.

The 10th annual King Tribute took place at Faith Baptist church. Rev. DeForest B. Soaries was the keynote speaker.

The event featured performances by the church’s adult and children’s choirs with soloists Jacob Rivedal and Jennifer Fort. The Trenton Catholic Academy Choir also performed.
