LIFE St. Francis set to hold Thanksgiving celebration on Nov. 20

On Thursday, November 20, LIFE St. Francis will be having a Thanksgiving celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West Trenton Fire House Ball Room, located at 40 West Upper Ferry Road in Ewing.

LIFE St. Francis is a program with the mission of caring for seniors who want to live independently and safely in the community for as long possible, even though they are nursing home eligible.

A team of professionals coordinates to provide comprehensive medical services and care, socialization, physical and occupational therapy, prescriptions, medical equipment and transportation to and from their center located on Liberty Street in Hamilton.

The team consists of geriatricians, geriatric nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, physical and occupational therapists, certified home health aides, registered dietitians, chaplains and specialists.

This Thanksgiving celebration includes food (served by the staff of LIFE St. Francis) and entertainment. This will be the sixth year that LIFE St. Francis has hosted a Thanksgiving celebration.
