Hamilton to honor local businesses and leaders at awards celebration

Hamilton Township has announced the 2017 award recipients for the 42nd annual Hamilton Township Economic Development Distinguished Achievement Awards Celebration.

This year’s distinguished award recipients include:

Small Business Award — Jersey Girl CafeLarge Business Award — Merlin IndustriesNon-Profit Award — The Jeremy FundMaurice T. Perilli Business Volunteer of the Year Award — Joyce CantaliceMayor’s Beautification Award — The Stone Terrace by John HenryMayor’s Dedication to Community Service Award — CYO of Mercer CountyImpact Award — Wawa

“Each year, our awards celebration is a way for our community to recognize the businesses and leaders who have so greatly contributed to our local economy in Hamilton Township,” Mayor Kelly Yaede said. “This year’s class of awards recipients has truly made a positive difference in our community, and I am looking forward to honoring them later this year.”

The annual awards dinner will take place on Thursday, Oct. 26 at The Stone Terrace by John Henry’s — located at 2275 Kuser Road, Hamilton — beginning with networking and cocktails at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.

“Our local businesses not only provide our residents with great services, they also help expand economic opportunities, provide jobs, support our school sports teams and local charitable efforts, as well as help improve our quality of life in Hamilton,” council president Dennis Pone said. “This annual celebration is a great way to simply say thank you for everything our local businesses and leaders do for our community.”

Tickets for the 2017 Hamilton Township Economic Development Distinguished Achievement Awards Celebration cost $65 per individual. Tickets may be purchased online at htedac.eventbrite.com. Checks can be made payable to the HTEDAC and sent to PO BOX 2926, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
