Hamilton police are asking the public’s help to identify a suspect who allegedly robbed the Garden State Fuel gas station at gunpoint on Tuesday.

At approximately 3:52 p.m. officers Frank Lavacca and Michael Mancino were dispatched to the gas station, located at 646 Route 130, according to a police report. An employee told the officers that the suspect approached him, showed him a handgun and demanded money.

After getting an undetermined amount of money, police said the suspect ran down Route 130, got into a small gray vehicle and drove south on Route 130 toward Bordentown.

Police described the suspect as a white male, 5-feet 7-inches tall, medium build, 175 pounds, approximately 30 years old wearing glasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, work boots and a bandana over the lower half of his face.

Anyone who may have additional information regarding the robbery is asked to contact Officer Thomas Clugsten of the Hamilton Police Division’s Criminal Investigations Section at (609) 581-4027, or the Hamilton Police Crime Tip Hotline at (609) 581-4008.
