Hamilton names road after Italian Festival founder

Mercer County Italian American Festival Association president John Scarpati was honored when a portion of Newkirk Avenue near Liberty Street in Hamilton was renamed Scarpati’s Way Oct. 4. Scarpati is the founder of the festival, which marked its 14th year in September. The organization’s offices are located at the same intersection.
