UCEDC, a nonprofit economic development corporation, is set to host Entrepreneurship 101 at the Mercer County Connection in Hamilton.

The intensive six-week workshop for start-up businesses is scheduled to run July 8 to Aug. 19. Entrepreneurship 101 is designed for those in the idea or planning stage of owning their own business, or have been in operation for less than a year.

Participants will be guided through a real-world assessment of their business idea and market feasibility as well as their own ability to handle the demands of business ownership. The steps to opening a business in New Jersey, choosing a legal structure, developing a business plan and establishing cost, revenue and cash flow projections will be addressed in a variety of interactive exercises.

This session of Entrepreneurship 101 is being offered in partnership with the Mercer County Office of Economic Development and Sustainability. Other sessions are held throughout the year in various locations in New Jersey.

More information, including registration, is online at ucedc.com.
