On September 9, 2015 members of the community gathered at a formal ceremony to officially unveil a memorial street sign to fallen New Jersey State Trooper Carlos M. Negron who died in the line of duty in 1984.

Participants in the ceremony included former New Jersey State Police Lt. Col. (Ret). Joseph A. Flynn (who was New Jersey State Police Lt. Col. when Trooper Negron was fatally wounded), Harriett Flynn, Hamilton Township Mayor Kelly Yaede, Michelle Carroll President of the Survivors of the Triangle NJ Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc. and New Jersey State Police Lt. Col. Patrick Callaha.
