Benson honors Hamilton resident at Walk MS

Assemblyman Dan Benson honored Hamilton resident Kim Scarborough at Walk MS April 14.

Scarborough was named one of the Most Inspirational Walkers of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s New Jersey Metro Chapter’s event. Benson honored Scarborough with a joint legislative resolution.

“I was proud to honor Kim Scarborough for her every-day courage in fighting MS and for all of her efforts to raise money for support programs and to help find a cure,” Benson said in a statement.

Benson also took part in the opening ceremonies, which took place at Steinert High School. Participants walked through Hamilton Township.

The National MS Society works toward funding research programs, advocating change, facilitating professional education , and providing individual services to people with MS and their families to help foster a better life.
