Having just celebrated its year anniversary with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Robbinsville is once again teaming with the Mercer County One-Stop Career Center to match qualified employees with good-paying jobs, announced Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes.

On Friday, July 31, Amazon representatives will be at the One-Stop Career Center, 26 Yard Ave., Trenton, to assist potential employees with the online application process, to follow up on pending applications and offer tips on how to apply. They’ll also be able to answer questions about the work environment and benefits packages.

Orientations will be at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon.

Since Amazon announced several years ago its intention to anchor in Mercer County, County Executive Hughes, along with the Mercer County One-Stop Career Center, has been working closely with the company to connect Mercer County’s talented and eager pool of potential employees with careers at the Fulfillment Center in Robbinsville.

Job applications, along with job descriptions and company information, can be found at nj.gov/counties/mercer/job/amazon.html.

Additionally, the shuttle that runs from Hamilton Marketplace to the Matrix Business Park in Robbinsville, partially funded by Mercer County, allows candidates without other means of transportation to get to jobs in the Matrix Business Park. To date, the shuttle has provided about 50,000 rides.
