Allies Inc. annual food, beer and wine tasting set for Oct. 10

Allies Inc. is set to host its annual fundraiser, A Taste of America, on Oct. 10.

The event features cuisine from local restaurants, beer, wine, live music by the Retro Memories Band and a silent auction.

Proceeds are set to benefit people with special needs and developmental disabilities. Fundraising supports the organization’s Greensleeves program, which is designed to help educate and employ individuals with disabilities, community outreach and Project Grow.

A Taste of America is scheduled for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m at Nottingham Ballroom, 200 Mercer St., Hamilton.

Tickets are $50 in advance and $55 at the door . Tickets include food, wine, beer and music.

Founded in 1999, Allies Inc. is dedicated to finding homes and providing support services for individuals with special needs.
