Who’s running in the Ewing School Board, state and county races on Nov. 5?

Ewing voters will cast their ballots in only one local election on Election Day, Nov. 5. Five candidates are running for three seats on the

Ewing Township Board of Education

. There is no municipal election this year.

Running for two three-year terms are Daniel Angebranndt, Scott Franks, Deborah Jones, Michael Miller incumbent Stephanie Staub.

There is one notable absence from this year’s ballot. Long-time board member Bruce White opted not to run for re-election. White has served a total of 33 years on the board since he was first elected in 1984. His term ends on Dec. 31.

Also not running is Kenneth Bradley, who served from 2003-2015 and 2016 to the present.

At the Mercer County level, two candidates are running for a four-year term as County Executive—incumbent Democrat Brian Hughes and Republican challenger Lishian “Lisa” Wu.

In other county races, incumbents Nina Melker and Andrew Koontz are running unopposed for two three-year terms on the Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

Running for 15th District Assembly are incumbents Verlina Reynolds-Jackson of Trenton and Anthony Verrelli of Pennington. They are being challenged by Republican Jennifer Williams of Trenton, Edward “NJ Weedman” Forchion of Trenton and Dioh Williams of Ewing. Both Forchion and Williams are of the Legalize Marijuana Party.
