kick off June 14, five Ewing residents — 2 athletes and three unified team partners — will help represent Team New Jersey, the event’s hosts. So, who are these competitors? The following short biographies give us a hint.

Athletes

Age: 25 Sport: Flag Football Training program: Area 11 Years involved: 17 Other sports played: Aquatics, Basketball, Flag Football, Floor Hockey, Soccer, Tennis Fun facts: I am a friendly person. I like all Philadelphia sports except the Phillies. I graduated from The College of New Jersey. I enjoy watching sports, hanging out with family and watching movies.

Age: 25 Sport: Triathlon Training program: West Windsor -Plainsboro

Sport: Unified Volleyball Training program: Area 11 Years Involved: 2 Fun Facts: I love volleyball! I have been playing for 10 years, and also officiate Special Olympics regular season and charity tournaments. I love to laugh and smile — life is about having fun and enjoying myself.

Age: 33 Sport: Unified Volleyball Training program: Area 11 Years involved: 3 Other sports coached: Basketball Fun Facts: I enjoy playing and coaching sports, love to cook, spend time with friends, and work with Special Olympics.
