Frontier Airlines has added another to destination to its service at Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing.

The airline plans to offer nonstop flights to Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, Fla., beginning Nov. 21.

To celebrate this announcement, Frontier is offering low introductory one-way fares starting at $59 each way to West Palm Beach for tickets purchased through Aug. 9 via the airline’s website, flyfrontier.com.

West Palm Beach is the sixth Florida destination to be added to Frontier’s service from Ewing. Other locations in the Sunshine State include Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, St. Augustine and Tampa.

In fall 2013, Trenton-Mercer Airport underwent a rapid, multi-million-dollar overhaul, the bulk of it paid for through federal grant dollars, and the airport continues to use federal grant dollars for improvements to its runways and taxiways.

Frontier is the only airline providing scheduled service out of the airport. Their nonstop service also includes Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago-Midway, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Indianapolis, Milwaukee and Minneapolis, Nashville, Raleigh-Durham, and St. Louis.
