Franklin Park to host “The Great Egg Hunt” April 4

Franklin Park is set to host “The Great Egg Hunt” on Saturday, April 4 at 10 a.m. (with registration at 9:30 a.m.). The park is located off Broad Street near Chambers Street in Trenton. The hunt is considered a “rain or shine” event, but may be cancelled if severe weather poses a safety hazard to the participants.

Over 3,000 eggs will be hidden on the park grounds, including three golden eggs entitling the finders to the “grand prize” – a $25 gift certificate to “Toys R Us.” All participants will receive a prize.

The event is open free of charge to all Trenton children age 3 – 10 who are accompanied by an adult chaperone. The Easter Bunny will be in attendance as well.

The event is sponsored by The Kiwanis Club of Trenton along with the Franklin Park NE Block Association, Science Mentors One-to-One and the Rider University Circle K Club.
