Ewing resident promoted within National Guard

An Ewing resident in the National Guard was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

New York Army National Guard member Cesar Santanareyes was promoted by Major General Patrick A. Murphy, the Adjutant General for the State of New York.

Santanareyes serves with the 719th Transportation Company.

Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability and development potential.

Additionally, promotions recognize the best qualified soldiers, and attract and retain the highest caliber Citizen Soldiers for a career in the New York Army National Guard.
