Ewing motorcyclist killed in July 29 traffic collision

A Ewing man was killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a sedan that happened around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 29 at the intersection of Parkway Avenue and Latona Avenue in Ewing. The accident is under investigation by the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office and Ewing Township Police.

Terry Birchenough, 54, the rider on the 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The prosecutor’s office says that the driver of the other vehicle, a 2002 Honda Accord, remained at the scene and was cooperating with authorities. The unidentified man is reported to be 57 years old, from Robbinsville.

No charges have been filed. Investigating the accident are Det. Rich Tramontana and Officer John Bag of the Ewing Police Department and Prosecutor’s Det. Ryan Minnick.
