Ewing Green Team to present on home energy upgrades

The Ewing Park—Brae Burn Civic Association has teamed with the Sustainable Ewing Green Team to present an educational session on Home Energy Upgrades on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hollowbrook Community Center. The session focuses on affordable energy, efficiency auditing and upgrades as well as reasonable cost basic home repairs for all interested homeowners.

Habitat for Humanity will discuss its “Brush with Kindness and Critical Home Repair” programs for seniors and lower income families as well as energy star housing to be built in Ewing. A representative from the Puerto Rican Action Board (PRAB), a Ewing-based services organization on Prospect Street, will speak on their home weatherization program. A representative from the NJ Board of Public Utilities (PSEG) is also expected to speak on sponsored and home programs “Comfort Partners Performance with Energy Star.”
