The EASEL Animal Rescue League is highlighting two pets for their Rescue of the Month, Hunter and Katie.

Hunter

Hunter was found running loose on Lower Ferry Road / Reed Road. He was found late at night so his finder brought him home. She said he was with her own dog and was good. Hunter is a young, strong energetic dog with a great personality and distinctive coloring.

Katie

I am a real American Girl… I was actually found me down at the American Legion. I am very sweet if a little bit shy, but once I warm up and feel safe I am very loving. I was really scared outside so I am glad to be at the shelter, however there is no place like home.

The EASEL trailer and Ewing Animal Shelter are located at 2 Jake Garzio Drive in Ewing. The EASEL Animal Shelter is open for adoptions everyday 12 to 3 p.m. The trailer is open for adoptions Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday nights from 5 to 7 p.m.
