The 12th annual political Button Show is set to take place in Titusville on May 16.

The American Political Items Collectors (APIC) association plans to host its 12th annual Button Show on Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place in the Titusville United Methodist Church’s Education Building located at 7 Church Road in Titusville.

The event will feature a wide variety of political items, ranging from 2016 presidential-campaign buttons promoting Chris Christie, Hillary Clinton and Rand Paul as candidates, to items from former presidents including Teddy and Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.

Breakfast and lunch, a wide selection of baked goods and bottomless cups of coffee and tea will be for sale. Proceeds will benefit church programs.

To encourage a lifelong love of political history and collecting, children will receive assorted buttons, free of charge, to start their own personal collection. Free appraisals will be offered for all political items brought in by members of the public. Attendees may also bring items for auction with a commission rate of 10 percent of the overall sale.

Admission to the event is $3 for adults and free for children 12 and under. For more information, contact Tony Lee at (609) 730-9490 or thefourlees@verizon.net.
