Fieldsboro’s White Hill Mansion is a historic American landmark. In 1775 Robert Field, then owner of the property, mysteriously drowned in the Delaware River which left his young wife, Mary, to defend the home in the Revolutionary War. Since that time the house has had many uses, including the home of a United States senator and a local restaurant.
