Veteran’s Day Ceremony set for Nov. 9

This year’s Bordentown Township’s Veteran’s Day Ceremony is dedicated to 1SG Dick Pinter, the township’s Lone Bugler.

The ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m. Nov 9 at the Bordentown Cemetery Veteran’s Monument on Crosswicks Street.

Home Town Hero Jeff Eget is set to raise the American flag during the event.

Brigadier General James J. Grant is set to give the keynote address.

During the ceremony, a representative from several military organizations will lay a wreath on the monument.

VVA Chapter 899 will perform a rifle salute, the Veterans Guard Third Regiment will perform the POW-MIA table dialogue and First Baptist Church Pastor Jay Rambo will give the benediction and invocation,

Ecumenical Multi Church Choir plans to perform America the Beautiful and the National Anthem. Big Daddy G will provide service songs and background music.

Light refreshments will follow the ceremony.
