Soccer stars honored at convention

Two Bordentown Regional High School soccer players, Alexis McTamney and Brandon Hudik, were honored at the NSCAA Convention, held Jan. 16-20, 2013, in Indianapolis as High School All-Americans. McTamney was the top goal scorer in the state this season, as well as setting the most goals scored in a career at BRHS. McTamney was also chosen for the SJSCAA First Team and NJSCAA First Team, and was the Courier Post and Burlington County Times Player of the Year. Hudik was selected for the SJSCAA First Team, the NJSCAA First Team, South Jersey Defender of the Year, and the Burlington County Times Player of the Year. He was also selected for the NSCAA Scholastic All-American team and was named the No. 1 Scholar Boys High School Player of the Year.
