Scout Troop 13 assists hurricane relief

Bordentown Boy Scout Troop 13 assisted in the Hurricane Sandy relief effort Nov. 11, 2012. The troop members assisted Senator Diane Allen by joining a group of 100 volunteers to transport and distribute 30 tons of provisions donated by nourishamerica.org to aid the hurricane victims and first responders. The troop transported the goods from Delran to various churches, firehouses and emergency headquarters in Manahawkin and Barnegat using a long caravan of SUVs, vans, trailers and trucks.
