Library announces April events

The Bordentown Library has seven programs for children scheduled for April. Family Movie Matinee is set for 2 p.m. April 6. The library will screen a PG rated movie for children ages 5 and up. Beginner Knitting for Kids is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. April 8, 15, 22, and 29. Children 4th grade and above learn to knit, purl and cast. Participants must bring one pair of size eight knitting needles, 10 inches long. Yarn will be provided. Registration is for all four sessions. At Time for Twos-Tulip Tales!, two year old children sing songs and engage in finger plays. Two sessions are scheduled; April 9 and 10 at 10:30 a.m. Chess and Board Games is set for 4:30 p.m. April 10 and 24. Participants may bring their own board game or use ones provided. At Blooming Stories, children 3-6 years old sing, listen to stories and watch finger plays. The two sessions are April 16 and 17 at 10:30 a.m. Baby/Toddler Time-Friday is set for 10:30 a.m. April 19. Caregivers may bring children birth to 23 months old and take part in stories, songs, music, finger plays and socialization activities. Craft Time is set for 4:30 p.m. April 24 for children age 7-12.
