Green Team to host organic farm talk

The Bordentown City Green Team is to sponsor a presentation at Honey Brook Organic Farm.

Honey Brook farmers Jim Kinsel and Sherry Dudas are set to talk with Al Johnson of the Northeastern Organic Farming Association and give a tour of the farm.

The presentation is set to include information on being a certified organic farmer in New Jersey and crop production management.

The tour features Honey Brook’s wildlife habitat and ride of a tractor-pulled wagon.

Attendees should wear sturdy footwear and dress for being outdoors.

The event is scheduled for 10 to 11:30 a.m. May 10 at the farm, 258 Crosswicks-Ellisdale Road, Chesterfield. It will be held rain or shine.
