Elks lay wreaths to remember vets

Bordentown Elks Veterans Committee members attended the Wreaths Across America ceremony at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle cemetery in Wrightstown on Dec. 10.Following the ceremony, which was held in the chapel, guests were invited to walk down the hill to a section of the cemetery where 430 veterans were buried. After the cadets placed wreaths, the guests were asked to place wreaths. The cadets also placed wreaths representative of each branch of the military in the chapel, which were then ceremoniously moved outside after the service.
