At the New Jersey State Thespian Festival last week, Bordentown Regional High School’s International Thespian Society Troupe 6803 was presented with an official proclamation from the state of New Jersey recognizing the success of their 2018 Trick Or Treat So Kids Can Eat Food Drive.

In addition, Troupe 6803 won the 2018 award for Most Food Drive Donations Collected for the state of New Jersey.

Junior Gabrielle Takacs was awarded a full tuition scholarship to the University of the Arts Pre-College Summer Theatre Institute Program. This program is modeled after the UArts undergraduate theater experience, and earns the participant three college credits. Takacs will spend four weeks being trained by UArts’ faculty and participating in weekly master classes.

Senior Abigayle Harnum earned two Superior medals for her performances in the Contrasting Monologues and Musical Solo categories. She is the first BRHS thespian to accomplish this feat two years in a row and has earned the opportunity to compete in these categories at the International Thespian Festival in June.

Harnum, Takacs, and Isabella Mayo represented BRHS as performers in the NJ State Thespian Festival’s All State Closing Number. Harnum, Mayo, Takacs, Lucas Bergen, Connor Graham, Courtney Quinn, Annissa Richard and Alison Wall all attended workshops and performed for college and professional theater judges.
