On Sunday, Nov. 4, the Bordentown Jaguars 04 girls’ soccer team defeated the Wall Elite Fury to win the U14 NJYS Presidents Cup.

After playing full regulation time, as well as two overtimes to a scoreless tie, Bordentown prevailed 5-4 on penalty kicks after goalkeeper Khushmit Sidhu was able to knock aside the Fury’s final shot.

The team was honored with a proclamation from the mayor, and Nov. 20 was declared Bordentown Jaguars Day.

Bordentown will now represent New Jersey at the 2018 US Youth Soccer Region I Championship in Virginia.
