Bordentown Elks give back in March and April

The Bordentown Elks kept busy during the winter and spring.

Elks from the Southwest District performed the Flag Retirement Ceremony at Mt. Holly Lodge on March 10.

Participating in the event were Girl Scout Troop 23371, Boy Scout Troop 32 and Cub Scouts Pack 80; all from Mount Holly.

On April 27, members of the Elks’ Veterans Committee hosted a Bingo/Pizza Party at Vineland Veterans Home. About 65 veterans gathers to play bingo and nosh on pizza.

The committee also brought 180 books, boxes of toiletries and lap blankets.

Also, CGI, a Canadian consulting firm, donated $3,000 to Special Olympics New Jersey on behalf of the Elks.
