Meet ‘Fred’ author March 4

Local author Fred Freda will host a book reading and signing to introduce his new children’s book, “Fred the Fish,” at Osteria Procaccini on March 4. The story follows Fred from birth to his final aquarium home.Freda, a retired state employee, has lived in Bordentown since 1987, and he has owned and operated an aquarium and pond business since 2007. The business inspired him to write a children’s book about a saltwater tropical fish named Fred. Included in the story is a little valuable information about fish care that may help the children who would like to have fish as pets someday. The book is ideal for children from the ages 2-8 and can be purchased through amazon.com for $8.95.For each book sold, a $.30 donation will be made to area SPCAs to help fight cruelty to animals.
