Learn how to go green at the Bordentown-Chesterfield Green Fair

Alpaca yarn spinning, rain barrel construction and home gardening are just a few of the free demonstrations open to visitors at the second annual Bordentown-Chesterfield Green Fair, set be held May 9.

The free event is scheduled from 11 a.m.until 3 p.m. at the Chesterfield Township Municipal Building. Other scheduled exhibits include seed planting, bicycle safety, wildlife habitat, composting, kids’ crafts, bird identification, solar energy, recycling and more.

Food vendors will also be in attendance.

The Green Fair is sponsored by the Bordentown Township and Chesterfield Township Environmental Commissions and Green Teams.
