Bordentown Township will host a slew of events this summer as part of Arts in the Park. The program was made possible by a $2,000 grant presented by Sustainable Jersey and sponsored by PSE&G, which the township applied for and won in March of this year.

Crossing Yardley and Blind Lemmon Pie will team up for a night of a wide array of music on Aug. 6, while the Boheme Opera of New Jersey is set to perform on Aug. 13. The film Avatar will be screened on Aug. 20. Kindred Spirit will play its classic blend of rock and soul on Aug. 27. There is additional movie night planned for senior citizens in October.

All events will be held at Joseph Lawrence Park on Ward Avenue from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. For more information, contact the mayor’s office at (609) 298-2800 ext. 2109.
