Plainsboro Township Police Department graduated 29 children from a five-day Youth Police Academy program on July 8. The focus of the program was to build self-discipline, self-esteem, teamwork, leadership, and a commitment to the community.

The students participated in team-building exercises and physical fitness training. They visited the New Jersey State Police Museum, Plainsboro Fire Station, Plainsboro Police Station, and the Plainsboro Rescue Squad facility. Instructors include Patrolmen Mikey Kelly and Thomas Newbon and Sergeant Joseph Duffy.
