WW’s 8th Annual MLK Jr. Celebration Held at Senior Center

West Windsor’s eighth annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration was held January 19 at the senior center. More than 100 people attended and participated in a community conversation. Speakers include Shing-Fu Hsueh, mayor of West Windsor; Barbara Edmonds, chairwoman of the West Windsor Human Relations Council; and Karen Delk, president of the WW-P African-American Parent Support Group.

And David Aderhold, superindent of WW-P School District; and Michael Jackson, project presentation teacher at Community Middle School. A screening of Martin Luther King Jr. accepting the Nobel Peace Prize followed.

Members of West Windsor Township Human Relations Council include Barbara Ingram-Edmonds, chair; Fatima Aziz, Jenny Lee, Savin Roman, Victor Stein, Tasneem Sultan, Kalyani Tallapragada, and Firoozeh Vali.

Members of the WW-P African- American Parent Support Group include Karen Delk, president; Tiffanye Cummings, vice president; Dawn Miller, co-vice president; Robin Fill, co-vice president; Kevin L. Carter, treasurer; and Joy Bailey Horton, secretary.
