During 2005, volunteers provided more than 1,”500 hours of service at the West Windsor Senior Center.

“The volunteers are greatly appreciated,” says administrative assistant Donna Fucetola. “The services could not be provided without their dedication and commitment.”##M:[more]##

Volunteers include Adele Miller and Sharon Hermone, conductor and accompanist for the West Windsor Warblers; Ron Slinn, coordinator of the West Windsor Retirees; Roger Morcomb, leader of the Book Club; Paola Blelloch and Milena Troiano, Italian language instructors; G.T. Wang and John Chen, duplicate bridge coordinators.

Also Kay Yoder, bridge instructor; Beverly Jeffers, play reading coordinator; Luba Lepidus, French language instructor; Bob Lowe,investment group coordinator; Nancy Yan, Chinese language instructor; Don Shipley, computer instructor; Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh, Tai Chi instructor; and Lois Harrison, Chi Kung fundamentals instructor.

Screenings personnel volunteers include Dr. Kaniza Banglawala, Joan O’Kane, Beverly Scollay, Laura Rossi, Jennifer Pilaro, Joy Shin, Ann O’Hara, Mary Ferrari, Bettyann Garver, Eleanor Hasse, Ruth Jones, and Carol Devitt.

Drivers include Ashok Bhagat, Fred Beach, Evelyn Barnett, Joan Bharucha, Paola Blelloch, BettyAnn Garver, Bob Garver, Bonnie McCullough, Brenda Mihan, and Linda Werner.

Folders include Lloyd Oertel, Eleanor Hasse, Charlotte Ferrari, Josephine Wang, Alice Payne, Betty White, Bob Jaros, Bhadra Dahl, and Bill and Carol Devitt.

Senior Center Advisory Council members include Don Shipley, Ron Slinn, Rev. Floyd Churn, Madeline Lightman, Mary Allen, Officer Tom Moody, John O’Hara, Bob Lowe, Donna Wasilewski, Joan Shames, and Mayor Shing Fu Hsueh.

“We would also like to thank those who have helped us with Senior Citizen Day, the Flu clinics, and special luncheons throughout the year,” says Fucetola.
