WW U12 Boys Burn Through Round 1

West Windsor’s 12-year-old baseball all-stars also went undefeated in the first round of their tournament.

The boys clinched a trip to the final nine after going 3-0 against Princeton (13-3), Allentown (7-4), and Bordentown(8-0). The team had already clinched a spot in the second round before two pitchers combined to throw a one-hitter against Bordentown.

The boys will enjoy a virtual home field advantage throughout the final nine of the District 12 tournament, with all games being held at R.J. Ward field.

Their first game in the double elimination final nine round will be against Nottingham on Friday, July 7, at 8 p.m. Nottingham also went 4-0 in its first round action.

Manager Dave Campbell and coach Brian O’Leary lead the team, which includes Adam Charnin-Aker, Aidan Callahan, Chris Campbell, Tim Crew, Isaiah Edmonds, Kyle Inverso, Joe Jensen, Brendan O’Leary, Ben Ruta, Evan Samet, Aaron Sherman, and Ryan Siegler.
