Those interested in seeking apponitment to the soon-to-be vacant seat on West Windsor Council must submit their applications by Friday, May 5, 4 p.m.##M:[more]##
The application is available for download at www.westwindsornj.org, It can also be picked up at the township municipal building. The application must be completed and submitted to the township clerk’s office.
The seat will become vacant on May 9, the effective date of resignation by Councilwoman Kristin Appelget. She is leaving the council after taking a job as director of community and regional affairs for Princeton University. The council has until June 7 to select a replacement. The council can also opt to leave the seat vacant
The person appointed to the seat will serve until November, when voters will have an opportunity to vote in in the general election for a permanant replacement. The position expires on June 30, 2007.
