Weapons Possession. Jacob Schwartz, 18, of Plainsboro, and a 17-year-old male were charged February 12 in connection with a weapons incident at the former Acme shopping center at 64 Princeton-Hightstown Road.

Officer Christopher Van Ness said a female witness flagged him down, telling him she saw a car with four teenage males leaving the area. She said she saw that the front-seat passenger displayed what she believed to be a handgun and shouted inappropriate language toward her when showing her the handgun. Van Ness said he found the car directly across the street in the parking lot of the Gables on Alexander Road, stopped the car, and found that Schwartz had a BB handgun. He said he searched the car and found the juvenile to be in possession of marijuana. Schwartz was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and harassment, while the juvenile was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

DWI Arrests. Helen Bagnall, 75, of West Windsor, was charged February 8 with driving while intoxicated. Sergeant William Bastedo said he stopped her on Clarksville Road at North Post Road for driving erratically, coming from Quakerbridge Road, and found she was intoxicated. Prior to being processed, she was sent to the University Medical Center of Princeton for a pre-existing medical condition. She was also charged with careless driving and impeding the flow of traffic.
