Mercer County is seeking residents to serve as volunteers on its 15 boards and commissions, including the Cultural and Heritage Commission; Council on Aging; Disabilities Advisory Council; Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Advisory Committee; Commission on Abused, Neglected and Missing Children; Library Commission; Mental Health Board; Commission on the Status of Women; Park Commission; Planning Board; Agricultural Development Board; Board of Social Services; Mercer County Fire Academy Commission; Workforce Investment Board; and the Open Space Preservation Board.##M:[more]##

Those interested in serving must be approved by both the administration and the Board of Chosen Freeholders and are typically appointed to three-year terms. Most boards and commissions meet monthly.
