When the United Way of Greater Mercer County needed help recently, it reached out to High School North’s football team and 25 team players came to their assistance. The MediCool Summer Cooling Program, created by Mercer County and the United Way, provides air conditioning units to medically fragile elderly and disabled citizens.##M:[more]##

After purchasing 100 air conditioners at Home Depot and arranging for the delivery, the Young Leaders United contacted Arthur Stubbs, the football coach at North to ask for help. The young men spent several hours unloading the units at the UWGMC offices.
