More than 500 people braved the cold weather to participate in the second annual Mercer County Turkey Trot at Mercer County Park in West Windsor early Thanksgiving morning. The morning event consisted of a 5K road race and a 1 mile fun walk/run. More than $25,000 was raised in addition to donated food for local food pantries. Debbie Cohen of West Windsor volunteered and West Windsor Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh was in attendance. Ed Keenan chaired the event.
