The Cranbury-Plainsboro 11-year-old All Stars remained undefeated in their division in the 2010 South Brunswick Viking Championship, leading to their final stand against Millburn in a July 30 showdown that ended with C-P prevailing, 16-10.

Will Kinney led off with a single, followed by an RBI triple from Nathan Santa Maria. Will Brossman walked, setting the stage for a three-run homer by Jeremy Lockwood. Starting pitcher Michael Tom helped his own cause with a base hit and stolen base.

In the second inning C-P started with a double by Isaiah Miranda. Jordan Blassingame had an RBI double. Michael Tom walked, followed by Eric Weiss with a single. A wild pitch and a double steal added two more runs.

In the fourth inning Brendan McCormick had a double, followed by hits from Nate Epstein and Brossman. Catcher Scott Doherty played solid defense and relief pitcher Will Kinney preserved the CPLL victory and championship trophy.
