The route for the walk will take participants to the bridge constructed over Big Bear Brook, which connects Community Park and the neighborhoods north of Route 571, through the PSE&G utility right-of-way, crossing over Route 571, and proceeding along the new path constructed by Dataram Corporation. The route will continue through the right-of-way to Rumford Way, at which point walkers can return to Community Park, for an approximate 1.5-mile round trip, or continue to Penn Lyle Road, for an approximate 3-mile round trip.

Throughout the walk there will be an opportunity for participants to discuss how best to construct additional needed connections to the trail, while also discover newly improved bicycle and pedestrian accessibility within the township, said organizers of the event.

The Trolley Line Trail is a recently completed recreational trail located along the PSE&G utility right-of-way that bisects West Windsor Township. Interested participants should meet at the entrance to the WaterWorks parking lot in Community Park, located at Bernt Midland Drive at Route 571.
