Several area women are participating in the Danskin Women’s Triathlon Series in Sandy Hook on Sunday, September 16. Each participant will swim a half-mile, bike 10.5 miles, and run/walk a 5K (3.1 miles). The race, held at the Gateway National Recreation Area, includes close to 2,”000 women.
