Perry Awards

Kelsey Theater in West Windsor received several nominations for productions, designers, production staff, and acting by the New Jersey Association of Community Theater (NJACT). Nominees for outstanding young male performer in a musical included Jordan Carroll of West Windsor for his title role in “Oliver” with Playful Theater.##M:[more]##

Kitty Getlik, artistic director at Kelsey, received several nominations, including ensemble actress for her role in “Incorruptible,” a Like 40 production.

Former Plainsboro resident Tina Lee was nominated for outstanding production of a musical for her work on “Once On This Island” at Villagers Theater. For information visit njtheater.com.

Literati

Mary Mallery of West Windsor was featured in the 2005 Kelsey Review, the literary journal published by Mercer County College. Her poem “Beauty Secrets” is on page 60.The publication, available free of charge at area libraries and bookstores, featured 24 Mercer County artists and authors.

Art Docent

Janice Bartolino of West Windsor recently completed a year-long docent training class at the Princeton University Art Museum. The members lead student and adult tours of the permanent and special exhibitions, gallery and children’s talks, and staff the museum information desk.
